China-based manufacture, Baidu Digital, has just introduced its new B618 portable media player that is said to come with a dual core processor which made me surprised and can’t believe what it is for. The Baidu B618 seems not too different with other already available PMP’s nowadays because it is support to playback 720p video, including a wide range of codecs such as H.264 (High Profile /Main Profile), Real 8/9/10, WMV7/8/9, MPEG1/2/4, DivX3/4/5, Xvid, H.263, compatibility with RM, RMVB, AVI, MKV, WMV, MP4, 3GP, MPG, MPEG video formats and MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC audio formats. No idea on pricing, but the Baidu B618 will be available in China in a few days’ time.
